Case Management

Case managers are individuals who coordinate services for people living with HIV/AIDS. Case managers are familiar with community resources and can assist those who need access to medical care, housing, emergency financial assistance, food, clothing, support and mental health/substance abuse treatment programs. Navigating these systems can be a complicated process, but case managers act as guides to help people living with HIV/AIDS get what they need to thrive. AIDS Services of Austin (ASA)
AIDS Services of Austin is the region’s oldest and largest community-based organization addressing the local AIDS crisis. ASA provides the following case management services:

  • Medical case management
  • Minority AIDS Initiative
  • Non-medical case management

Community AIDS Resources and Education (C.A.R.E.)
The C.A.R.E. Program, provided by MHMR Integral Care, offers case management, mental health and outpatient substance use treatment to individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
