Transportation
If you or your loved one needs help getting to and from appointments, transportation assistance is available. Case managers are helpful resources for securing transportation. Consult your case manager if you have one, or visit the case management page to get more information about what case management is and where you can find it in Austin.
The Capital Area Rural Transportation System (CARTS) bus system covers nine counties in and around Austin and may be able to get you where you need to go, even if you live in a rural area. If you are on Medicaid, you are qualified to ride for free.

The Care Communities offers non-medical assistance to people living with HIV/AIDS, including transportation.
Keep Austin Mobile provides medically related transportation, wheelchair accessible transportation, transportation for people with special needs, and transportation for underserved communities.
Faith In Action Caregivers offers transportation and other support for senior citizens.
